Irish playwright Stephen Kennedy has written us today, January 8, 2016 with the news that his newest play, 'Pete Best of the Beatles' will debut on the New Theatre in Temple Bar, Dublin, Ireland on February 8, 2016, and may run through February 13. The play, which dramatizes Pete's 'sacking' through the Beatles, is a long time in the making. Stephen wrote within an email, 'This play has taken me over 2 yrs to analyze and write. It examines the mystery of Pete's firing in the greatest rock 'n' roll band of all time ' also it presents a fascinating insight into earlier times of The Beatles as well as their wild nights in Liverpool and Hamburg.'
